SAYF · Security Reports
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 July 2026
SAYF is built to be private by default. The app has no account, no cloud, and no analytics — and we designed it so there is simply nothing for us to collect.
The short version
SAYF does not collect any personal data. Your reports, photos, saved recipients, and settings are stored only on your device. They are never sent to us, and we have no server that could receive them.
What stays on your device
Everything you enter — shift details, log entries, photos, and the email addresses you save as recipients — is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device storage. It does not leave your device unless you choose to send it.
- No account or sign-up is required, so we never have a name, email, or password for you.
- There is no cloud sync and no backend. We cannot see your reports.
- The app works fully offline.
When you send a report
When you choose to send a report, SAYF hands the PDF to your device's own Mail app (Apple's Mail composer) and to the recipients you pick. The report goes directly from your device to those recipients through Apple's email system. SAYF does not route, copy, or receive that email, and we never see its contents.
Photos
If you attach a photo to a log entry, it is stored inside the app on your device. Photos are only included in a report if you add them, and are only sent if you send that report yourself.
Analytics, tracking, and ads
SAYF contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs. The app does not track you across other apps or websites, and does not use your data for advertising.
Data sharing
Because we collect no data, we have nothing to sell or share with third parties, and we do not.
Children's privacy
SAYF is a workplace tool for security professionals and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
Your data lives only on your device. Deleting the app removes all reports, photos, and recipients stored in it. Reports you have already emailed will still exist in the inboxes you sent them to — that is outside the app's control.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the date above.
